Series 2 digital force gauges are designed for basic tension and compression forcetesting applications up to 500 lbF (2,500 N). Peak tension and compression readingsare reliably captured via the gauges’ ±0.5% accuracy and 500 Hz sampling rate. Abacklit graphic LCD displays the current, peak tension, or peak compression reading.

The gauges are overload protected to 200% of capacity. An ergonomic, reversiblealuminum housing allows for hand held use or fixture mounting, rugged enough forapplications in both production and laboratory environments. Series 2 gauges are directlycompatible with Mark-10 test stands and grips.

Series 3 digital force gauges are designed for tension and compression force testing in numerousapplications from 0.12 lbF to 500 lbF (0.5 N to 2500 N). The gauges feature a sampling rate of2,000 Hz, producing accurate results under a wide range of testconditions. A backlit graphic LCD displays large characters, and amenu is available to access the gauges’ features and configurableparameters. USB output is provided for data collection purposes.

Set point indicators are provided for pass-fail testing. The gaugesare overload protected to 200% of capacity, and an analog loadbar is shown on the display for graphical representation ofapplied force.

An ergonomic, reversible aluminum housing allows for handheld use or test stand mounting for moresophisticated testing requirements. Series 3digital force gauges are directly compatiblewith Mark-10 test stands, grips, and software.

Series 3 gauges include MESUR® Lite dataacquisition software, for tabulation of continuousor individual data points. One-click exportto Excel button easily allows for further datamanipulation.

Series 4 digital force gauges are designed for tension and compression force testing in numerous applications across virtually every industry, with capacities from 0.12 lb to 500 lb (0.5 N to 2500 N). The gauges feature a sampling rate of 3,000 Hz, producing accurate results under a wide range of test conditions. Accuracy is ±0.2% of full scale, and resolution is 1/2000. A large, backlit graphics LCD displays large, legible characters, while the simple menu navigation allows for quick access to the gauges’ many features and configurable parameters. Data can be transferred to a PC or data collectors via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs.

On-board data memory for up to 50 readings is included, as are statistical calculations with output to a PC. Integrated set points with indicators and outputs are ideal for pass-fail testing and for triggering external devices such as an alarm, relay, or test stand. The M7I professional digital force / torque indicator is designed to work with a wide range of Mark-10 remoteforce and torque sensors (see page 4). With exclusive Plug & Test® technology, all calibration and configurationdata is saved within the sensor’s smart connector, not the indicator, allowing for true interchangeability. Inaddition, all sensors are fully compatible with other Mark-10 indicators.

The M7I features an industry-leading sampling rate of 14,000 Hz, producing reliable results for extremelyquick-action tests. In addition to the M5I indicator’s functions, the M7I features high speed continuous datacapture and storage, with memory for up to 5,000 readings, at an acquisition rate of up to 14,000 Hz. These systems are ideal for a variety of applications including plastics, composites, metals, rubber, automotive/aerospace components, medical devices, adhesives, foams, film and more. Perform tensile, compressive, cyclic, flexural, shear and other types of testing. Three model load capacities are available: 10kN, 30kN and 50kN. Testers feature a granite base with all-metal columns and pre-loaded ball screws for excellent extension control and precision measurements. Magnetic travel limits are adjustable to prevent over travel situations. Testers are inherently stiff and we include stiffness compensation correction to eliminate all errors due to mechanical deflection in the entire load string. Communications to the all-in-one touchscreen desktop computer is via USB. Frames feature digital and analog I/O and support for two extensometers. Data sampling is selectable between 1-2000Hz. MMD test frames may use ULC, MLC or FLC load cell sensors. Sensors are IEEE 1451.4 compliant. Frames may be fitted with optional splinter shield.
